It was a board game that I played years ago and I'm looking for it now. It's a simple two player game where each person puts pieces on the game board and tries to make a continous line from one side of the board to the other. At the same time the other player trying to do the same from the opposite direction (side) and tries to block you. Does anyone know this game and where I could buy it?

  1. I think this is the game you are looking for:

One user has a copy up for sale in the marketplace, but he lives in Germany.  Seven users list the game as "for trade", and 98 users list it as owned.  Perhaps you could ask one of them to sell you their copy.

Additionally, if you like the game Connections, there is a game that has a similar link-across-the-board game called TwixT.  It's rather good if you like that variety of games.  It was published in various versions for 30+ years, so you should be able to obtain a copy somewhere if interested.
