Question:

Does anyone remember the name of this old chocolate bar ? ?

It was sort of a long squashed cylinder shape with thin strands of chocolate woven together (sort of reminds me of a birds nest) and in the middle was a light chocolate mouse ?

I'm having the hardest time remembering what it was called and no-one I ask remembers either ... it's driving me mad :)

  1. Never heard of it "Secret"  but now I want one!!  I may have to go sign that petition to bring it back so I can try it!

  3. Ripple? But that doesn't have a mouse filling. Cadbury Twirl? Or Timeout.... the only one I can think with a fluffy middle is Milky way?

    It must be Nestle Secret ...... it was a chocolate bar that was manufactured by Rowntree (now part of Nestle) in the 1980s and 90s. It consisted of a bird's nest-styled chocolate coating with a creamy mousse centre similar to the filling of a Walnut Whip. It was packaged in a white protective card sleeve and was encased a gold-coloured wrapper with the product's name printed on it in purple.

  5. Oh I remember these - they were out about 10years ago and I think the wrapper was beige.  I think they were made by the Mars group.

    I quite liked them but they were incredibly sweet and I always seemed to purchase the one that had been sat on a resembled a bit crumbly mess.

    I'm going to rack my brains to see if I can remember what they were called......

    FOUND IT!! It was called Secret and by Nestle.  Apparently they stopped making them as the cardboard tube they sold them in worked out too expensive.

    There's a petition you can sign to bring them back - well, it worked for Wispa!!
