Does anyone remember the old high school proof that 1=2?

The teacher proved in Algebra 1 that 1=2. Then she showed us the trick to show it's wrong, but I forgot.

Does anybody remember this? This was way back when Nixon was still the President.

I definitely did this in high school! I'm totally sorry I don't remember it that well, but I'm almost positive it involved something not allowed in math, like dividing by zero.
