Question:

Does anyone remember this 90's Juice Box?

All I remember is that it was pretty tall compared to the other juice boxes, and instead of like a straw it had like a metal foil that you would pull back to reveal a hole and you would just drink out of the hole. It's actually kind of bothering me so if anyone knows please tell me.

I asked this before and two people said it was Capri Sun. For the record, I am not an idiot and would know it if it was as easy as Capri Sun. I make it pretty clear that there's no straw, and Capri Sun has a straw. Also, I don't think they make this box anymore.

  1. Wow...attitude ajustment needed!  Did you it ever occur to you that they honestly thought it might be Capri Sun?  You think they are toying with you because they suggested it...it's a dang juice box question for crying out loud.

  2. I think that maybe it was Capri Sun as well, I remember what you are talking about, but I would have thought it was Cari Sum, I am sure like everything else over the years they have changed the boxs.  However I did find this online, maybe this will help you too....

The biggest change of all?  No straws.  At least, not initially.  I'm betting that parent company McCain ultimately stopped trying to be so d**n rebellious, but when I was buying Boku, it didn't come with a straw.  It just had this foil "slip" that could be peeled away to reveal a much larger drinking hole than was the norm for juice boxes.  I don't really get why they were so adamant about giving juice boxes an adult spin, but I think dropping the straw was crossing a line that juice boxes should never cross.  Sure, I was young when I drank these, but I don't think you need a college education to drink stuff without spilling it.  Between the gaping drinking hole, slenderer (I still can't believe that's correct) boxes and lack of straw, Boku tended to spill like spilling was the in thing.
