Does anyone remember this Christmas candy?

Light and airy white balls (I think they were made with meringue) that were flavored with peppermint. They had red stripes on the outside. They came in Christmas tins and were labeled as peppermint bonbons. The recipes I've seen are nothing like these wonderful candies.

Yes, I had some in my room the other day, but I threw them out cause they were like 8 months old...

Yeah, they still sell them. They are good, so light and almost melts in your mouth.

There is a soft peppermint candy that comes sorta like that.  They also come in a long stick...is that it?

I know that what you are talking about sounds like divinity. It's pretty firm, not light and airy, but I recall several Christmases that I had pepperminted divinity.
