Does anyone remember this nintendo/supernintendo game?

When I was very young, we had a nintendo and supernintendo. I randomly thought of my favorite game today, but I can't remember what it's called! It is driving me crazy not remembering this. So, all that I remember about the game is there was a boy that would go home and his mother would make his favorite food. This favorite food would restore his health, and you would enter the name of the food at the beginning of the game. Like I said, it either goes with the nintendo or the super nintendo. So, does anyone know the name of this game?

your favorite game was about a kid eating food to restore health... you do know that you just named like any game out there.  have you tried that one game with that kid that comes out in smash bro. the kid with the yo yo and baseball cap.  it was a rpg so that might be it. not sure what the name is but yeah sorry.

The game you're thinking of is Earthbound for the SNES (Super Nintendo), a very good game, which has become a cult classic. If you're thinking of buying it, good luck with that, since it's really rare now.
