Does anyone remember this on the news a long, long time ago???

Ok, so I remember on the NBC Today show that a man who could not talk was discovered one day in Washington or New York and people kept asking him questions and figured out that he could not talk. Then he drew a picture of a piano and they took him to one. He then played the piano really beautifully for them without any music. No one knew where he was from or anything...they called him the Mystery Man. What happened to him?

they call him the piano man, and they still arent sure who he is. They think he lost his memory and hasn't spoken since... At his hospital (a mental ward) he played a four hour piece on the piano. A lot of people have come forward claiming to know him.. A majority of people say he was a musician with a family in France. But they still dont know what happened to cause him to become mute and completely distant from everything. They say he's only at ease when he's playing the piano.
