Does anyone remember what the phone number "POP-CORN" was for back in the 70's?

to get the time!! they just cancelled that number like last year

It gave you the time in 10-second intervals.

"At the tone, the time will be be 2 42 and 10 seconds. BEEEEP!"

Answer 3

That was to call the Time Announcement Information Service.

"At the tone, Pacific Daylight Time will be...Two...Thirty...and Twenty Seconds... (BEEP)"
