  1. honestly... this sounds like rubbish!... no offense, i'm sorry, but i wouldn't share my horses with a stranger! i live in peterborough... i don't know if that is "south-east" enough for you... coz it's kind of "mid-east", if you will?

however, i do agree with ALPHA

  2. I found my first share from a friend at my riding school. I was extra friendly and helpful and she picked me :)

Try your local stables, tack shop, advertisements etc. I live in south east but I've got enough help with mine. If you get some working experience at stables then you can get contacts of more people and meet possible owners willing to share.

Sharing usually includes set days/times, chores and financial help - everything is literally shared. Be sure you can meet the owners requirements.

  3. I dont live in england but google it. ask friends even s=ask you mom if she could lease a horse for you. if its possible buy a pony. horses are great have fun!

  4. There are some on adtrader.co.uk, thats where i found mine :)

  5. if you go on NFED.COM they have loads advertised on there nder the part loan catergory. :)

  6. Unlike a lot of people here, I do actually live in England (But not in the South East dammit :(

If you've heard of Horse magazine, they have a section in the back of that for sharers. You could advertise for free there.

Advertise in your local tack shop or in a paper shop. Sounds strange, but your local newsagent will have room for adverts in his shop and I often see loads of people there looking for help with their horse!

    Hope that helps, x

  7. Whereabouts in the South East?

  8. I don't live in England, but I'd look around at your local barns and ask your horsey friends. just let people know you're looking for a horse to share, and I'm sure eventually you'll find a couple available. visit tack stores and put up a notice about you looking for one, and check online listings. good luck!

  9. Hi...I do have a mare that I am looking for someone to ride as I am sidelined with a broken ankle! Obviously it would depend on what you are looking for and how experienced you are....

    I am in East Kent..
