Does anyone see Marco Belinelli bein a great player for the warriors?

In the summer league he showed he waz able to create for other n still get his shots at the same time n his defense has greatly improved even though it still needs work.If you look at vids of him in Italy u can think of him as bein a right-handed ginobili.but ppl keep comparin him 2 ray allen but i think dats a lil bit too high 4 rite now

  1. yeah. people see his stats and say he sucks. but he really doesn't. some games during the season when nellie played him, he wa lights out. the thing is, he doesnt play rookies that much but said he will next season

    marco can shoot the ball very well and can make plays.

I can defiantly see him being a great player.  And i hope dearly that he stays with teh Warriors.  I see hints of Peja Stojakovic in him and i know with the addition minutes hes bound to get next year(with Ellis possibly moving to play the point) that Marco will excell.  Maybe even 10 ppg with 2.0 3s a game. :)  Good free throw shooter too. Future Ray Allen.

  3. I think he could have started at point this season had Nellie given him just 15 minutes a game. Good shooter, can make plays, perfect for nellie ball.

  5. It is difficult to overcome expectations of your coach.  No, he will not become a great player for the Warrior's.

  6. He'll give Warriors a good contribution.  I don't know if he'll be a star or not but he's still young at 22(going to be).  He can still improve a little.

  8. i dont know about great, but i can see him being a very good player. his defense is pretty lacking, his lateral quickness isnt at nba level, and he is a very very streaky shooter. marco loves to take weird off balanced shots and he makes them, but when he has to set his feet, he doesnt. he needs to learn how to be a spot up shooter. he has some PG skills, ive seen some great passes in summer league but thats just it. summer league means almost nothing. so i dont put much stock in it. with more time and experience i think he can be something like jason kapono or brent barry.
