Why doesnt anyone care that their makeup tests on animals? I mean their all basically the same things accept the natural stuff in them. Try wet n wild, revlon, physicians formula, Rimmel. The stuff thats made with healthy and organic things.

Not covergirl, maybelline, max factors, ect.

Animal testing is serious, and people dont even know the awful experiments they do on live animals. Why dont people care at all?

  1. i don't use most of my stuff tested on animals!

i find a good alternative cruelty-free makeup that i use now is the physicians formula organic wear line!: )

  2. NO,NO,NO I don't use make-up that is tested on animals that's sooooo sad! OMFG!

  3. I refuse to use anything tested on animals as well, but I have to tell you something.

I don't know about Wet n Wild or Physicians Formula because we don;t have them in the UK, but whilst Revlon/Rimmel etc claim not to test their FINISHED products on animals, they do not have a FCOD (Fixed Cut Off Date)

To give you an example of what a fixed cut off date means. Urban Decay/Hard Candy have a FCOD of 2004. This means that not only do they not test the finished product on animals, they have also decided not to use any ingredients tested on animals since 2004, and buy from suppliers which also agree to this.

Companies without FCODs may say that the product isn't tested on animals, but the ingredients probably were, whether by the makeup company themselves or by the suppliers.

People don't care because they are ignorant and more interested in their own vanity than compassion for other living things. Its sad but also true that you can tell people about animal testing and they will say that it is disgusting and they will never use products like that ever again but give them a few weeks and they will be back using Gilette or L'Oreal or whoever.

I don't like the PETA Caring Consumer list of good brands, as they go by finished product testing, not FCOD.

The Naturewatch list goes by FCOD, and although it is UK based, it lists all the major brands as well. I've included a link to their guide in the sources. Hope this info helps and I'm chuffed that you are interested in shopping more ethically

  4. i dont use makeup thats tested on animals, its sick. not only is it causing suffering to animals, it has human-made ingredients; which cant be good for our skin.

    stay organic (:
