Question:

Does anyone seriously believe Iran has nuclear weapons or is developing them?

The American Defence Intelligence Estimate stated with "high confidence" that Iran had given up its nuclear programme in 2003, yet this has been ignored by the US government & its allies, just like the fact that Ahmadinejad never said Israel should be wiped off the map. Just how much lies & disinformation can people swallow?

  1. I cant believe people are stupid enough to believe that Iran isn't developing their own programs and isn't a threat to the west! Bloody liberals!

  2. Did you know that it is simply an American LIE that the Iranian president said he wanted to "wipe Israel of the map"?

"Ahmadinejad did not say he was going to 'wipe Israel off the map' because no such idiom exists in Persian"

Juan Cole (Professor of Middle Eastern history at the University of Michigan)

In fact he said the "the ZIONIST REGIME shoud be wiped from the pages of history" ie the political ideology that a Jewish state should be placed where others are already living.

As a comparison, saying that "the Communist REGIME shoud be wiped from the pages of history" does not mean you want to destroy China.

    Edit:

Compare this with Bush's annointed succesor as president joking about the indiscriminate killing of Iranians:

    Edit:

In fact the Iranian president has AGAIN recently stated he does not want to attack Israel:

  3. The chances of them having tactical nuclear weapons is about the same as Saddam having similar weapons of mass destruction that could be delivered withing 40 minutes !!

A resounding NO...just an excuse to greedy warmongers to spread their wings a bit more to capture a bit more needed oil and receive a few more backhanders to help rebuild the mess they will make..!!!!!

  4. Developing them, yes.2003is quite a long time ago now isn't it.

  5. If it hasn't then its going the way of Iraq.

  6. We live in a crazy world.I do not know what Iran is doing all i know is why should the countries who have nuclear weapons be trusted.I trust none of them & they should all get rid of them only they can not because there might be one country keep them.Maybe if every country had nuclear weapons then they would become useless.

  7. Just how gullible do you think people are?  or is it you that is gullible?

Ahmadinejad has stated several time on television in front of the world that it is Iranians policy to wipe Israel off the map!!  That is absolute rock solid fact!!!

As is the fact that photos exist of him as a terrorist blowing up aircraft in the desert!!

Iran is the first country in the world to seek nuclkear weapons that is just stupid enough to use them even knowing they might be wiped out in retaliation.

In the meantime of course millions of Iranians live and even die in poverty whilst billions are wasted!!

  8. i certainly believe they are desperate to get their hands on nuclear weapons

it would be of great kudos to the war monger leader of iran to be able to threaten israel with the weapons he craves

this is a man who is desperate to make a name for himself and to hasten the return of his hidden iman ......

anyone who believes they are developing nuclear power for energy reasons is deluded or determined to believe anything irans leader says ....... (or at least to pretend to)

  9. We know that they are acquiring nuclear energy with the help of the Russians which could, in turn lead to the development of nuclear weapons.

Just put Bush to the side for one moment (I know it takes quite an effort) but the whole of the European community are also incredibly worried about Iran's ambitions, as are many of the gulf states, especially their long term rivals the Saudis.

Ahmadinejad is his own worst enemy. We can debate the nuances with regard to his threat to Israel but I think that his 'peacock' behaviour is a threat to peace in the region.

  10. Its almost as bad as Congress going on vacation as using 2003 statements. Does this same source say the same thing today? That would be interesting to see

  11. Yes I do and I think they would be foolish enough to use them.

    They are religious fanatics

  12. they probably had more then they did in 2003

  13. I tend to agree with you.  The main problem I have with this "issue" is that Israel supposedly has a stockpile of nuke weapons and the US just winks about that.  I don't trust Israel with nukes any more than any other country.  If Iran develops nukes, so be it.  They will join many other countries with them, China, India, Pakistan, France, US, England, Israel, Russia and how many more?  Let Israel fight her own battles without taxing the US taxpayer to death.

  14. i think so, but what i cant understand is why america and britain act as if they are the only ones who are allowed to have nuclear weapons, surely they're either bad or ok? if they are bad, why do any countries have them or be allowed to hvae them. i dont see america and britain causing a big song and dance because france for example have them

  15. I believe they are working very hard on it.

  16. Yes. They would love to get their hands on them. The problem? They will use them and wreck havoc througout the world. That is why they must, and will be, stopped.

  17. I do not think for a minute that Iran is developing a nuclear bomb to blast Israel. Some good friends in Iran keep telling me of their disquiet at the level of disinformation that they keep hearing. And even Israeli friends of our family think they detect a campaign in the media, probably emanating from the White House itself, of distortions and untruth, regarding Iran and its nuclear intentions.

The real fear is of another Iraq. Madness admittedly. But then what do you call the mess that is Iraq?

  18. We are always going to get some kind of tyrant in this world,he who thinks is above all, the technology is far beyond us, the treats are there but who would really push the button

  19. Course they are developing them.  Them and just about every nation on earth withe the monetary clout to buy the technology.  If one bloke has a big stick, the next bloke will ALWAYS want a BIGGER stick!  Silly B*gg*ers

  20. Iran is enriching low enriched uranium, enough for NUCLEAR POWER

they have signed nuclear POWER deals with south americans such as Bolivar, Venezuela etc

if they were enriching high enriched uranium then that could mean nuclear weapons.

the EVIDENCE, not propaganda, suggests Iran's nuclear programme is for nuclear power
