  1. I accept evolution as an accurate scientific explanation. By the way, how can you prove a series of separately tested scientific observations wrong?

  2. good for u. now u gonna prove it or r u gonna admit u dont actually hav any proof?

  3. No I'm sure that most people who agree with the evolutionary theory don't believe it because it has facts and evidence to back it up.

Please, prove it wrong then. I'd LOVE to see what some nerd on a computer has that can destroy the literal mountain of evidence supporting evolution.

  4. You don't need to believe in evolution, you can prove it and provide evidence.

Belief is for those things for which there is no credible evidence and can not be proved in any other way.

  5. Evolution is JUST a theory and it has scientifically proven to be wrong because it violates the law of entropy.

  6. Not me. No way. I've examined the so-called "evidence".

  7. In answer to your question, yes.  There are people who seriously truly believe in evolution, in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.

  8. Yes.

I think you have been sheltered- many people believe in evolution.

  9. You say you can prove evolution wrong, then fail to do so.  Yes, all educated people believe in evolution--assuming they do not choose to dismiss the evidence in favor of ancient religious texts.

  10. It's already proven that evolution is true. There is evidence.

  11. What? You found a fossilised mammal in the pre-cambrian clay?

    That would disprove evolution.

This is what makes it a scientific theory.

Now: What would disprove Intelligent design?

  12. Evolution does not need belief. It has fact.

And if you could prove it wrong, why haven't you done it and become rich and famous already?

  13. Having studied it in detail for many years, I can say that natural selection of favourable traits appears to be the primary mechanism via which the allele proportions in populations of living organisms has changed over time.

This shifting of allele proportions over time in populations of organisms explains not only the vast diversity of life, and its distribution biogeographically and chronologically, but also the remarkable synapomorphies contiguous throughout various lineages of organisms.

If you have a better explanation for how allele proportions in populations change over time, that also explains the distribution of organisms and the retention of shared characteristics, I'd love to hear it!!

  14. Nope, not really.  It's hard to believe that nothing and no one became everything and everyone.

  15. I believed in evolution for 28 years. I was also an atheist. Then Jesus saved me and now there is no way I believe in evolution. It is the dumbest Idea in the world. There is no hard evidence except for limited variation in basic kinds of animals. Darwin observed this limited variation in finches and concluded that the birds were related to bananas. He stated "It is a truly wonderful FACT that all plants and all animals throughout all time and space should be related."

Since that time in the mid 1800's this has been assumed correct. With billions and billions of dollar of funding from the governments, banks, and big business this theory has been held in the lime light. There is no hard evidence to bring it past this limited variation. All other evidence is either fraudulent, subjective, or grossly oversimplified.

I absolutely do not follow the religion of Humanistic Naturalism. To believe that natural random forces can turn a lilly pad into a tiger is foolish. I would never again join a religious organization like that!

  16. Wow! I can only imagine what kind of archaeological and anthropological evidence you have to support your claim and disprove billions of years worth of evidence.

    What's that? None at all?

  17. You opened yourself up for a lot of attacks there!

Not that it matters to you, since you know what you know.

I know what I know also, that evolution is a pile.

To me, even if there was a big magical bang that began this beautiful Earth, life COULD NOT have been created.  Scientists have been trying to create life from non-life forever.  Only God can create life.  There must have been something LIVING on that meteor.  And God put it there.  And he said, "Let there be Light!"  BANG

  18. How's your mathematical statistics?  Biology?  Biochemistry?  Genetics? Anatomy?  Molecular biology?

How's your grasp of the most recent seven thousand relevant scientific papers in thousands of scientific journals published in a variety of languages?

Come back when you have that.

  19. All things in nature change to adapt to the environment over time. You have bodily functions that you don't use like having goosebumps. There are also organs you don't use, like your appendix, but other animals use them quite a bit. You also have two kidneys when you can survive with only one. Penguins can't fly, so if all life was created by God, why choose to make a broken species? Hope that helps.

  20. Yes, of course.

If you can prove it wrong, then I look forward to reading your study in an upcoming peer-reviewed scientific journal, which will shake the very foundations of modern biology.  ...Or it will be laughed at.  Either way, I will find it highly entertaining!

  21. You're welcome to try.  I don't "believe" in evolution.  However, it is the best explanation we currently have for the diversity of life on our planet, with the most evidence behind it.

  22. Evolution is not a belief system. With all the evidence that refutes religion, how can anyone possibly cling to faith based fantasy?

  23. Seriously, I don't think you understand the monetary value of the information that you have. I am prepared to offer you a million for the exclusive rights to that information. Just in the medical Field alone i could make billions with that information. Even in astronomy, physics, and geology alone I could make millions if not billion. If you proved just one piece of evidence wrong that support evolution in those Fields. Please let it be geology i will find so much oil, gold and diamonds gas will be a nickel a gallon. Physics they just fired up the LHC the world largest machine at a cost  of 1.8 billion dollars to build and million a month in electricity which would pale in comparison if you had evidence proving isotopes wrong. It would be like reinventing the atom all over again. Since Hubble, cost billions and is probably the most expensive satellite to date and the U.S. government is spending billion to fix it this year. You can save taxpayers billions of dollars by telling us astronomy is 99.99995 BS since that much of the universe is beyond 6000 light years.  But if you did give that real information out on this board you are either dead wrong or the stupidest person alive. So which are you?

  24. Go for it.

For the mean time, I'll stick to believing in evolution. I've never come across something that stays 100% the same all the time.

Good luck with that proving thing.

  25. Some people do believe in evolution and some do not.

This is a free country and people can believe what they want, even if that is or appears to be wrong, immoral, stupid, irrelevant, etc.

Many have tried to prove evolution and many more to prove it false. I suggest you read a few books on each side, before you can claim you can prove either side of the question.

  26. I do not "believe" in evolution.

I accept it as true because all available evidence points to it as being true.

  27. If you have proof it is wrong then you will overturn most of the theory behind virtually every science discipline. so I think that unlikely.

The Catholic church have no problem with evolution.

Evolution has been observed in the lab and in the field thousands of times. Even AiG admits that what they call "micro-evolution" cannot be denied. AiG deny a common ancestor for mankind with the great apes and they deny the possibility of speciation, but they are denying facts. check the videos

  28. Each side brings evidence to the table.

Logical to me it is a combination of the two.

  29. I don't believe in evolution.  You don't have to believe in things that have evidence.

  30. Only idiots who chose to get their information from science.  They also seriously believe in Germ Theory.  Don't they know that the flu is really Satan?

  31. I dont believe in evolution. I accept it as a scientific fact.

If you could prove it wrong, you'd be a famous person. The fact that you are a nobody lying on Yahoo Answers tells me much about you...
