Can any tell me what is I love you in german

I am half german ive been learning german for about 2 1/2 years in highschool. the word for i love you is "ich liebe dich" and when a german says "ich liebe dich auch" it means i love you also,. If you were to travel to germany and passed someone on the street and they smiled at you, you should say "Guten Morgen" Guten Tag means good day but also another way to say hello . Especially if you were to go to eat at a restaraunt you should definetly know the words for certain foods such as Leberkas which is a bavarian meatloaf, the famous brautwurst with sauerkraut,also every october they have in bavaria what is called the "Oktoberfest" the men dress in what is called the Lederhosen translating to "leatherpants" and the drindl is a dress the girls wear (along with long braids").if you were to ask what someones name was you would say "Ich heisse {name} wie heisst du" and then they would respond with something like ich heisse {name}. alot of german traveling books like the doring kinserly [DK] have work bank pages in the back for refrences in case of either an emergency,ordering food,or using a telephone.I would recommend to find a free german online course online there is so many of them,rosetta stone is a program that teaches foreign languages,or even an german-english english-german dictionary they are benificial and helpful.

a few more things the word der is masculine ex. der speck which is bacon die orchidee the orchid or das madchen the girl. also you should know the dative prepostions verbs adjetives subjunktives,plurals,nouns,dative case stuff a german may see you are attemting to say something like "ich kannt nicht finden mein handy." -i cant find my cellphone- the ich for is finde du is findest sie is the star form as its called findet along with the sie/er/es form. also the we they and the two other star forms.
