Does anyone still believe in this rule? Why or why not?

Old sayings become old sayings because they have some truth to them.  So yes, I believe it - the world would be such a wonderful place if we all followed this rule, all the time.

I believe it.. But too many people today believe in "I'll do what I want to you, but if you do it to me, I'll sue you and plan a march"

I believe in it whole heartedly.  Just yesterday I taught an ex friend this rule.  He did unto me, and I did it back to him.  I had been holding back ... I should have done it sooner because it made me feel so much better.
