  1. My buddy has it, and he definitely does not get his money's worth. Unless you are watching a game every night or two it isn't worth it.

  2. Like the NHL Network Channel? Yeah I get it. I recieved it when I ordered Centre Ice at the begining of the season. I'd say it's worth it......it gets me through the day, lol. They usually talk a lot about old hockey days.

You said you're from Pittsburgh, right? Well about a month ago they did some big thing on Lemieux and the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup. They've also done something when the Oilers and Gretzky won the cup.

They have a bunch of old high lights, but they have new highlights too. I'd say it's worth the money. During the regular season they'll occasionally show a game or two a night.

  3. I also have DirecTV, and have the NHL network at no charge, and also have Center Ice.  So I flip between multiple games during the reg season, and then catch the highlights of goals I may have missed on On The Fly.  Center Ice kicks AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!...

  4. i have it on direct T.V  saves me from watching  espn

  5. When my local cable added it back in Nov., I already had the sports package that they added it to. So it didn't cost me any more than I was already paying.  It was OK during the regular season, and now they are showing the Memorial Cup, something I haven't seen before in the US.  For me, it has been a nice addition. Only negative is you can only watch "On The Fly" so many times.

  6. It's part of the sports tier in my cable package though I also get Center Ice.

Center Ice is AWESOME and a terrific value.

  7. Nah, as long as I can watch the Leaf games and playoff games that's enough for me. When I was in grade 4 my dad canceled all cable (except Indian) for a whole year. The only thing we had to watch was Hindi dramas. It's a good thing I didn't watch hockey back then.

  8. directv gives it with my current package in HD..good stuff, but repetative
