Even if they know they probably aren't, but just to make sure so it doesn't get to months without knowing she's pregnant....if you understand that.

Thanks.

  2. Pregnancy test don't usually show a positive result until about 2 weeks after conception.  Taking a test after every sexual encounter would be a useless waste of money.  There's usually no reason to take one unless your period is late.  If she's really irregular she might decide to test once a month but what she's doing now is way overboard.

  3. I should.  I just found out I'm 8ish weeks pregnant!

  4. The test doesn't work until your periods late.

  5. That would cost so much money, it would be cheaper to take your birth control as told by your doctor and use a condom. I'm 20 almost 21. Been in a relationship for almost 5 years. And have only taken a pregnancy test twice. So if your smart birth control does work there is no reason to take test alot.

Plus most test won't pick up on the hormone unless your at least 3-4 weeks.

  6. no

  7. No, because I've had a hysterectomy.

  8. Tell your friend she's wasting pregnancy tests. They won't be accurate for at least two weeks after intercourse (unless she was already pregnant, of course). Even if she's super-paranoid, one test per month is more than sufficient.

I guess the answer to your question would be "Yes, girls who don't know anything about s*x or pregnancy will take a pregnancy test every time they have s*x,mistakenly believing that they're actually accomplishing something."

  9. She must spend a fortune on pregnancy tests, and it is pointless to take it right after you have s*x, you dont just have s*x once and bing bang boom you are pregnant an hour later.
