Does anyone take only 5 mg of lexapro?

I started a week and a half ago with Lexapro and I started with 5 mg (half of a pill). My doctor said to go ahead and increae to 10 mg after a few days. She started me slow because I am sensitive to side effects. I don't see her again for almost 2 weeks, but I am afraid to go up because it makes my tired and unmotivated. Also it is very expensive and I can only afford it (even with my insurance) if I cut the pills in half. My question is: Is there anybody out there that used 5 mg of Lexapro and gets benefits/help from it?

well i also started on 5mg and it really wasn't helping me much and i am also sensitive.  I upped it to 10 mg, which is still not helping so i'm going to 15 but im another story.  I also get mine for free unlimited i go to a psychiatrist that just gives you it with no cost.  You should try to find a psychiatrist because they tend to do that.  Also if you are very sensitive then this will work for you.  GOOD LUCK.
