Does anyone think I can make a $200 profit selling old VHS tapes on Ebay? ?

I have close to 100 VHS tapes just collecting dust in my attic. I wanted to know if they are considered collector's items now. I have the original Star Wars Special Editions before Lucas mutilated them more for the DVD release plus more.

If you are lucky you might get 50 cents a piece for most titles. I did a quick search of Ebay and saw a bunch of auctions listing 100+ collections. Anything that had bids was well under $50.

Unless you have a lot of kids movies (especially Disney) or have original first or early release Star Wars on VHS you won't hit your target. If your Star Wars is actually first release you could exceed your target

You would probably get a better price listing on http://www.Kijiji.com or http://www.craigslist.com or in a local paper or buy and sell. Ebay buyers are too well informed and there is too much competition on their site (which drives the price down).
