NO? well...let's see what he said in Florida yesterday...i believe it's a peek of what we should expect from Obama..nothing like calling someone racist before they have said anything at all....

" We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid,” Obama said at the fundraiser. “They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black? He’s got a feisty wife.”

The crowd of supporters cheered, and Obama added: “We know the strategy because they’ve already shown their cards. Ultimately I think the American people recognize that old stuff hasn’t moved us forward. That old stuff just divides us.”

Has any republican pundit ever said..."did i mention he's black..." does anyone have the name of someone who said that?

  1. Obama looks more black than white to me

(but remember it's only me) even though I know his mother is white.

    ***

That's not racist. That's pointing out the TRUTH about the way the GOP has been playing the race card to stoke their fear and smear machine.

  3. Of course he's going to cry "racism" - it's required by the DNC I'm pretty sure, since other than nasty personal attacks are the only other weapon in their pitiful arsenal.

What's sad is, he's right, only the people he thinks are against him because of his ethnicity aren't the ones who actually are against him.....the Dem/Soc Unions w/their isolationist northeastern roots can't stand him, and a huge contingent of Black Americans resent him for trying to "pass" (I live in the South, and yes, that word is used by people of color when they explain their disdain for the man - I have no idea what that means but it's very important to them).  This country will not elect a man of color, but not for the reasons Obama thinks.

Plus - brace yourselves - very few people under 35, and even fewer who identify themselves as African-American actually vote.  They may be involved in the "process" that makes Michelle proud, but they don't show up on election day.

Most Conservatives I know, myself included, know he's just flat unqualified and underexperienced - when you have to point out your college major as your "body of knowledge" regarding foreign policy - uh, no - and - Come on, ACORN? That's right up there w/my sorority philanthropy requirement - exacerbated by the fact he's a lawyer and a career politician with a loud-mouthed wife.  We had one of those a few years back and it was excruciating - please, not again!

  4. Well, in SOME cases it true!  For example, Fox News and their ridiculous "terrorist bump" characterization.  I also look at many of the posts here that use all sorts of racist slurs.

I think it's disingenuous for people to keep pretending there's NO racism involved in this election.

Remind me, when did McCain become Bush's lap dog?

  5. (from above:  )

Obama added: “We know the strategy because they’ve already shown their cards. Ultimately I think the American people recognize that old stuff hasn’t moved us forward. That old stuff just divides us.”

At what point HASN'T Obama played the race card ?

It's the perfect PC/liberal trap:  if you criticize Obama or don't support him, you're just a racist. right?

But in truth, there are many reasons to legitimately not support Obama, based on his warped ideology and bad decisions, NOT on his race:

  6. Well they obviously are racist.  Im sure theyre also "terrorists" and "anti-American"??????  Sounds a little familiar doesn't it.

  7. Pat Buchanon (sp?) did describe Obama as "exotic."  He might as well have said "he's also black, you know?"

  8. Obama could be talking about McCain supporters spreading lies.

Read these posts if ya don't believe me.

The GOP is afraid of Obama and they should be.

You are afraid too. It shows.

  9. Calling everyone who is critical of him a racist could make him come across as a whiner.  That isn't going to help his cause, or win him any more support.
