Does anyone think asian families are kinda loud?

there is a korean family next door and they have 4 kids... but all i hear is screaming and yelling from the parents only. i feel bad for the kids but dont want to seem like im getting into their business. they are super loud though... getting kind of annoying because all the parents do is complain and yell at their kids.

i wish i can smack the parents and take their kids from them cause they are nice and cute. anyone else have experience with asian families living near them? btw the family as a whole is very agreeable but internal matters are a different affair i suppose. so angry at the parents!

I dont know. Definately not thais. Ive stayed in Thailand and they are the most polite people Ive ever come across, not loud at all. In USA everybody is angry and arguing and yelling all the time.

its not just asians. Its realy only americans who find loudness improper etiquette. In countries with culture like ireland everyone is very loud. Not in an angry way but in a social way. The wedding at the beginning of The Godfather I is just like an irish wedding or a french wedding.

My family is loud which are Puerto Ricans and Italians.  I know loud people in general.  It is annoying at night hearing nothing but arguments and drunk rants.

this is how steriotypes start, if it was a mexican family, then mexican families are loud, duh, come on dont be a racist

I have met some Asian people who absolutely split my ear drums they were so loud and the tone and cadence of the speech just reduced me to a quivering wreck...you have my sympathy...

I think all families are loud sometimes.  Heaven knows my mother, sister, and I made some serious noise.

I DON'T think, though, that grouping all families of the same race together is fair.  Not cool.

lol, i know how you feel....but anyway, it  depends on the family. i've always thought they were quieter, but maybe you are just next to a louder family. hope they can work out their problems fast so that you can get on with your life

poor kids though, i feel for them. not much you can do though, but if your really get fed up, send them an anonymous letter about it!!! that should get 'em!

Ooh really? I always thought asian families were the quiet and sweet kind who don't bother anyone lol. But trust me, american families are worse haha.

Maybe you can tell them to quiet down or something? Or steal the kids haha =]

So just because there is one Asian family who is loud, they're all loud? The Asians I have lived next to have always been quiet and never bother anyone.
