why is it any of our business if her daughter is pregnant i dont think that has any involvement in how good a VP she will be.

Palan' daughter's pregnancy has legs and will be talked about for the next two months. I do believe its revelations was used to distract growing attention for baby with Down Syndrome and the real mother (Palan or Bristol).

They figured that she had to come clean to start this campaign. It obviously doesn't bother her to have people talk about her family. She seriously should be looking out for her family, especially her son Trig. A child with special needs deserves a full time mom.

They can fold it into a big news cycle all they want. This whole weird soap opera is going to have some long, long legs.  I'm interested to know just what the truth is.  I have no interest in judging the behavior of a 17 year-old girl whom I do not know, nor do I think her pregnancy is, by itself, anyone else's business or in any way politically relevant.  It's the web of stories and rumors and cover-ups around it that bring serious doubts as to the truthfulness, good sense, morality, and even sanity of Sarah Palin herself.

Leahfu:  They could have come clean on Friday.  I was seeing the rumors about Trig's parentage on the internet as early as that evening, NOT just yesterday.

Countess:  It doesn't bother you that anyone, media or otherwise,"FORCED" the Governor of Alaska and Vice-Presidential nominee into telling the truth?  Not even a little bit?  Don't you think someone with that much power should get to the truth on her own?
