  1. yes!

  2. I know my teacher has shown us the formula, but has never in detail discussed how to actually form a bomb... especially if this was in highschool... i might understand if this was in college, in a graduate program.

  3. no. where the heck are you going to get plutonium, or uranium in sufficient sizes and purities to actually accomplish anything. You've seen the news, the US government knows when a foreign government buys the stuff. you think no one is going to know if you or a classmate buys it?

  4. No, there is a little more to it than a single formula.  It also requires of the students the application of higher sciences, as well as some careful mathematics.  He is trying to engage the minds of the students more likely than actually create a bomb. Your class should respect that effort.

  5. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!...

people could probably find it on internet if they want, but why freely give you info. Are you to be tested on it? Is it part of the book or lesson? Tell the principal, superintend. whoever, your thoughts.  Years ago my Home Ec teacher who also taught early child develop, (we were only supposed to sew and cook) she made take a test on the male reproduct. and female, make us baby sit 5 yr.olds, and made us make  a puppet show skit and charact. puppets for them and had to act. I thought highly inapprop. but never told, I wish I had.

  6. absolutely not! As a science teacher, I find that to be an interesting and fascinating change of pace!! I'm sure that no one in the classroom has the materials or money to actually build one..!

EDIT: Steven stole meh answer >_<

  8. no why is it wrong to get more informations and knowledges? i think your teacher is cool! =)

  9. Unless it turns into a demonstration, there is nothing wrong with it.  Using the same logic, teachers should not show students what makes rockets fly.  The fuel for each is not available.

  10. no... do you really think anyone in that class could actually make one even with the knowledge??

  11. Why would it be wrong?  What are his intentions other than to teach and put out information?  When I was in Jr. HS many moons ago I did a research paper on the atomic bomb.  I explained the history and how to make one.  The formula your teacher showed you was probably the formula to achieve the splitting of the atom.  Relax and don’t worry about your teacher.

  12. Not at all.  I think the science behind it is very interesting.  You can find the instructions pretty much anywhere.  Now if he gave you the MATERIALS, thats a different story.
