I talk to myself all the time.. I sometimes even replay things or events that have happened in my head and then think about things I could have said or changed, then find myself talking outloud, commentating both parts.. Does anyone else do this? Be honest please!

cuzz thats why i am the way i am...anyway talking to yourself is fun!!!!!

  2. Yes, I have done this in the past.

  3. "Talking to yourself" is not exactly accurate for what you are doing. You are vocalizing memories and questions that occur to you. There is NOTHING wrong with vocalizing. MOST people subvocalize. Ever seen people whose lips move when they read? They are subvocalizing. MANY, many people do both. It is NOT crazy to do this, however a number of crazy people DO, but that has nothing to with being crazy, just because that is the way they THINK, with a vocal component. I do this all the time, as do many people I know and unless we ALL are equally crazy, you included, vocalizing has nothing to do with anything.

  4. It happens to me very often & it's normal up to a certain limit. But a BIG WARNING: never be with self-talking the way that you miss others calling you or a fire caught nearby & you remain talking! That's a kind of psycho disorder. By the way, I use to make myself perfect sometimes by talking to me. Because you get enough time to discuss the good & bad sides of anything using your wisdom without interference by others.

  5. When you get an answer then I would start to worry.

  6. I dont do that specific...but i talk while i type...i talk while i'm thinking what to type or write...i talk out loud when im pissed off...sometimes i blurt out things that im thinking of (not always good).

    I dont see myself crazy..:)

  7. i do this, its called recalling situations, analyzing and thinking critically, if this is insanity then what should be called normal?

  8. I think out loud quite often.

I have heard that when speaking we use another part of our brain. Not only does the info go through the speech center of the mind, the ears take in the data and the info is processed through yet another part of the mind.

Saying things helps me to remember.

At work, people have teased me. I'll ask them, when you whistle are you whistling a tune for everyone else to hear?

Also, I've been told I am the best worker at my work place.

I am good at organizing and multi-tasking.

As long as you understand you don't have to think out loud, you probably aren't crazy at all.

  9. Hope not cause if it means your crazy I'm too far gone for help.  I just worry someone is going to hear me and think I'm crazy!

  10. I don't do this, but a friend of mine does...he sometimes seems to have a conversation with himself with me sitting right there!

  11. yah, haha i sometimes do that.. do you mean like you imagine certain situation in your head that happened or about to happen and you talk to yerself?

  12. i do that too. i was wondering the same thing for a long time, but i dont talk outloud to myself. i think its normal. but i think its kind of weird if i see someone in public doing it.

  13. It sounds ok if it makes you feel ok. Sometimes after a conversation i find myself mouthing the words both people just said. weird but ive seen other people do it!!

  14. I was hoping I'd never have to admit this, but I do that as well. Constantly.

So if you are crazy, at least you're not alone.

  15. Its like thinking. You don't really need to say it out loud, but it doesn't make you crazy.. unless its about certain things.

  16. Yes... I DO IT. You are OK unless you talk loudly. Whenever I find myself alone, I start replaying things that have happened with me and talk to myself. Its natural!!!
