  1. The smaller that your deck is, the quicker you will get the cards that you need. I usually play with 45 cards at max. I have a winning record of 117 wins 12 losses, and I usually kill my opponents within the first 8 turns. Even though you get more good cards in your deck with higher numbers, it takes longer, and less of a chance, to get the cards that you need or want to draw. By the way 60 cards are too much if you are planning on doing tournaments. The other people will cycle through the cards that they need and kill you off, unless you get a good shuffle.

  2. 60 is just good, 40 is small

  3. 63! thats way too much!

Take my advise, and take out some cards!

The more cards you have in your deck, the less chance of drawing the right cards at the right time.

If you few cards however, you'll run out of cards faster!

If i were you, id keep my deck between 45 and 50 cards.

    Hope this helps!

  4. No, 40 cards is just perfect. Suppose you are running a D.D. deck and you only have 3 macro cosmos and 3 dimensional fissures, but you have a 60 card deck. What would be your chances of getting one? Much less than it would be in a 40 card deck. Every deck has a different job. Just one main job. If you take a look at thedecksof major championship winners, you will see that there is not onewasted card in there, and the deck is no more than 45 cards. Most people think that 40 cards is too little because you are either mixing in too many themes are have no theme. Things then become too complicated as you have all those combos stacking up on you with a card missing here or there. You will find that when you are running a strict theme deck, that the more cards, the worse, because there aren't that many cards that you will need and the ones you really do need will probably be run in threes because of the fact that you need them as quick as possible.

  5. will no and yes that is the least amount of cards you could have in a deck

my deck only has 45 cards

  6. As most have already said, the lower the number of cards you have in your deck the greater chances you will get your important cards you need to win a game. Let's say you have an elemental hero deck that's only strategy revolves around its fusions and you only had 2 copies of polymerization. (for this case, I'm just using polymerization I know there are other fusion cards) If you only had 2 copies of polymerization in a 60 card deck and no additional cards to help you find them in your deck how will you succeed. Well, you won't. You can't rely on "Oh, maybe I'll get the card next draw."

If you don't understand what i mean by getting your important cards faster, well you can look at it this way. If you have too many cards you probably have an unnecessary number of copies of certain cards. You could also have some cards you wouldn't need in your specific deck.

To keep your deck at a safe number you will have to include staples or cards that are helpful in every deck for example swords of revealing light. After you include the staples then you include cards that fit your theme of your deck.

  7. I say 40-50, but closer to 40 because if you need to draw a card, it will be a lot lower chance that you will draw it.

    P. S. 40 in exodia deck no matter what

  8. no! the less cards, the better a chance at drawing what you need!

  9. if u only have 40 cards in your deck, there's a greater chance of drawing your strongest card.

but if you have 40 or more cards in your deck, you'll have a lesser chance of getting your rarest card.

BUT! if u have 40 cards per deck, then it will run out quickly, and might lose the duel

so if i were you, i'll choose 40/deck
