Does anyone think that Hendricks number 5 car is cursed?

2 years ago Kyle Busch drove it and he smashed that car pretty much every race and this year Casey Mears has been driving it and he seems to wreck a lot also, will it stop wrecking in 2009 or will Mark Martin get stuck with an unlucky car.

He had 18 top 10's in 2006 and only 2dnf's. How is that smashing that car pretty much every race?

And for the record, it's not an unlucky car, just underfunded.

i do thank that number five is a cursed because look what happened to kyle  for last two years and now Casey Mears is driving and he not doing good in it either

it's not cursed because kyle did not bad in it when he raced. a big reason casey can't do that well is because it is a brand new team to him. unlike kyle who was with his team for more than a year and used to them, casey met his team this season so they were all new to each other. he is starting to get used to them though, which can be seen in his top 10 finishes in 2 of the last 3 races. though he doesn't get another chance next year because Hendrick's got rid of him. It probably won't be as hard for marting though because he is a vet and knows how to transition and win through difficulty. I have faith in martin and think he will do good next year in the kelloggs/carquest car.

kyle busch is crashing just as much in the 18 car, because that's what kyle busch does. casey mears just sucks, because that's what casey mears does. terry labonte won a winston cup championship in the 5 car in 1996, ask him if it's cursed.

Not cursed, if Kyle was driving it this year he'd be killing the same people.............last year he was still a bit green. Martin will do very well..................
