  1. nah...junior is tight on money already with the Nationwide Series. There are rumors it might not even go through next season.

  2. Well they were supposed to go to it in 2009, but it looks like those plans have been scraped.

Hmmm, if it ends up being 2010, I think JR Motorsports would be in a better financial situation to make the conversion, keeping them in the Nationwide Series.

  3. With the costs being the same and less money coming in I can definitely see it happening. Why would anyone want to spend the same amount of money to race in the 2nd tier series as they would the Cup Series?

  4. the talk was that he would seriously consider it if and when the nationwide series has to switch to their version of the COT. that was originally slated to begin in 2009, but has been pushed back to 2010 at the earliest. the reasoning behind it is that if he's going to have to put out millions to build all new cars anyways, he might as well do it in a series where serious money can be made...

so, i do believe it will happen, and will probably happen in 2010 or as the nationwide COT becomes mandated by nascar. and the way the company is co-owned by junior and hendrick now, look for them to be a "satellite" team for hendrick or to possibly "merge" in some way with stewart-haas in the future...

  5. hopefully in 2010....Jr has hinted around at it a few times this season then went all hush hush about it so.....guess we'll have to wait and see.

  6. maybe 2010

  7. Possibility in 2010..I really do not see it happening for 2009..drivers need more seat time, just my opinion, don't hate me..

Personally would love it see it happening..but Jr is smart and has a great mentor Mr. Hendricks helping him with his decisions!

  8. I seriously doubt that will happen until Dale Jr. retires from driving.  I don't think he'll make it harder on himself as an owner/driver since he's found some success with Hendrick.

  9. I think Junior will shut it down or sell it to D.E.I. so he can concentrate on winning more than one race every two years.

  10. Yeah I think so eventually...

Seems like Junior has talked about just that...
