  1. If we could send people to the moon, we could certainly build an ironman suit. Biggest obstacle of course will be money for research and paying scientists and engineers like those in NASA.

  2. Not in our life time, but yes...

  3. Heh, no. It wouldn't almost impossible.

  4. Well, work has been done on exoskeletons for a varierty of uses, for example; helping the aged/disabled move around more easily, helping workers carry heavy weights, allow people to run faster/jump higher etc. None of the designs are armoured.

Power is a big problem since the prototype exoskeletons aren't exactly light, and neither are batteries. All of this weight has to be carried around, not to mention the energy required to aid the operator.

In the film Ironman, he used a fictional energy source which was small, light and extremely powerful. This allowed him to neatly sidestep reality, which means he could have his ludicrously big, heavy and well armoured suit. Having it fly really took the biscuit, it was never mentioned where all the propellant for his rockets came from.

Who knows, maybe one day when we have matter/anti-matter reactors in everything from flying cars to childrens toys, and trips to the moon are considered boring, we'll also have flying suits of armour. It ain't gonna happen any time soon.

  5. i eat babys hope that helps your question

  6. Not now, because you'd need that kind of heart thing that is impossible to make with our current technology.

  7. look up asimo at youtube and that is the most sophisticated robot made

  8. yes....technology go a long way.... too long actually

  9. uh maybe in the future!!!

actually like duh in the future!!

    its probably possible now even...maybe

  10. meaning...... what? yes probably, what are you asking?

  11. no

  12. Ironman*

  13. No Its Like not cool

  14. yes it is the suit wouldn't be as small as the iron man suit but it would be close to the bulky one he had there was a prototype years a ago developed by a contractor for the military i want to say it was draper labs but i'm not sure i don't know what features it had but i know it was scratched because the power life was to short for any actual workload to be performed and it ran a oxygen tank on the back so it was bulky to boot to move around in that's all i got on that later

  15. Yes.

Im sure it will one day be a 'modern warfare weapon' just like in the movie. its just a matter of time.
