Does anyone think that our Government cares more for Foreign Policy than they do the American Public?

I for one thing that our government would rather spend money on this assinine war than help the American economy.

We continue to pay more at the pumps and the grocery store, while Bush and his Co-horts get richer.

No. I think the American people have, over the last 100 to 150 years, "allowed" their government , through selfish reasons, to "make deals" with foreign governments, expecting "we" will benefit from these "deals".

Nope.  You are assuming the two are mutually exclusive, which they aren't by any stretch of the imagination.  A government which is not adequately concerned with foreign policy and affairs is putting its people in danger in ways that gas and food prices - while inconvenient - have not.  

And by the way, Bush is not richer.  Look it up.
