  1. Isn't that like gnosticism? Where God is secretly evil?

At any rate... life is pointless if it terminates at death. You die. That's it. It doesn't matter what you do... if God cares about what we do, then it is only logical to assume that there is something after death. God without an afterlife is like an oxymoron.

  2. That's the worst possible scenario isn't it?

You pay homage to your God,, obey all it's taboos, and then you still go into oblivion. God is just jerking us around for his own amusement.

That's the darkest thing I ever heard.

Just because it is horrible doesn't mean it's not true.

  3. How about an afterlife with no god and no rules? Wouldn't that be fun.

  4. actually i just had a religous conversation weeks ago with my best friend who i have know for 15 years and he does believe this

  5. I think that the existence of deity with out the existence of any form of an afterlife is an incompatible conclusion.  Why?  Because of the nature of deity.  What is deity?  A deity is a spiritual cause or consciousness which is a part of or is the underlying basis of the physical universe.  The physical emanates from and subsists by  deity.  One must understand that anything spiritual is above matter and eternal.  Now, in each of us there lays a soul and a spirit which is the underlying basis of our bodies, just like deity is the underlying basis of the body we call the physical universe stated earlier.  We know this simply because if deity is the underlying basis of everything, it must be everywhere nothing being destitute of it.   Seeing as the soul and spirit are eternal, they must of necessity remain after the body has decomposed.  Therefore, having reached that conclusion, it's impossible that while accepting the existence of a deity we deny the existence of an afterlife.

  6. no, i believe in both. i don't know too many who believe in only one of those. they either believe both or deny both

  7. My God doesn't send millions of people to h**l just for being innocent and ignorant of His word.

  8. God is an imaginary being that exist in the mind of delusional people.

Every delusional people have no real life nor after life.

  9. If there is a god, I must have done something right in the previous life, and for what I have done in this one, I most certainly will be reborn a pig for slaughter.  :)

I believe in god, only in a creator of "everything".  I.e., Someone started this BS right.  However, when I die, I will only live in memory with people who are still alive, and that will only last for 2 generations.  :(  Therein lies the afterlife, memories.

    Take care,

  10. What about all the people who were proclaimed dead and came back to life, who say that they went into the light and some of them met members of their family who had died.  There are variation on this, but the mayority said that they went into a tunnell of light.

If there is not a life hereafter, how do you explain this?

I believe that when we die our eternal spirit goes on to the next level of existance. The Analogy:  Catterpiller becoming the butterfly.

  11. I believe in both..
