I think Columbus didn't get good value iun return. I welcome anyone to tell me that I am not right about this. I know Umberger was a great signing but I think him and Zherdev would have been a great one two punch.

  1. IN TERMS OF- Zherdev didnt want to be there...... so yes it was a good trade. No player plays his best and can be disruptive when he doesnt want to play on the said team. They had to move him because of that!

PS- Umberger didnt sign yet... CLM just has his rights.

  2. i agree with you that it wasn't a good trade for columbus. as a ranger fan it was a good trade for us. even though tyutin was a good young d-man the rangers got two good players for him. backman sucks so you didn't gain anything with him. zherdev is really good and so is Fritsche. So the rangers got two good players for one good one and a really bad one. so i would say its a bad trade for columbus but a good one for the rangers.

  3. im a devils fan and i think tyutin was a great defencemen.  In a couple years hes going to be one of the best.  Backman was decent too.  Zherdev is going to get alot of points probably but he is locker room cancer and its most likely not going to work out in the long run.  Everyone says new york got the better deal, but i think columbus did.  im a devils fan and im pretty happy.  Just wait in a couple years Tyutin could be a top defencemen in the league.  He has the potential.

  4. yes (God Bless Ohio State)
