Does anyone think the rivalry between the Dodgers & Giants has died?

Yeah. Im From NY and I support The Yankees and Mets but I think The Dodgers and Giants rivalry has died. Once The Giants are competitive and once The Dodgers become a little better than it would be a good rivalry again.

no. just a down time. was their a Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry before 1973? no. Besides The Dodgers will show the Giants a great leftfielder.

Haven't you noticed? The Dodgers aren't fielding competitive teams, either. The Dodgers are 295-300 (.496) since 2005 and haven't won a playoff series since 1988. In fact, the Dodgers are a horrendous 1-12 (.077) in playoff games since 1988. For a team that plays in the worst division in baseball, and is located in one of the two largest markets, that's extremely pathetic. Anyway, Dodgers vs. Giants is still the 3rd best rivalry in baseball, even though neither team is particularly good.
