Question:

Does anyone think the world will ever care about Africa?

When the world signed the Genocide Convention did they only mean for that to include Europe? If half of what has been going on in Africa went on in any "white" country then you can bet the media would not be referring to it as tribal conflicts and the world would be sure to step in. Even when they look back to the Rwandan Genocide they show little remorse for not doing anything. Sudan and Kenya are just a couple of the troubled couturiers that are in desperate need of help and the world is just turning their head the other direction.

  1. nope, aids is running rampid, civil war is everywhere, food is scarce, its pretty safe to say that God has left Africa.

  2. We DID care for africa, even the most capitalist of companies would love to have a massive new market.

    It didn't work.

Now is a time of 'tough love' - let them rot and when they they are mostly dead we can re-collonise them, make good use of the land as a global bread basket and CO2 absorber and this time get it right - never let them return to tribal rule.

  3. It's not God who has abandoned these people, it's HUMANITY.

Why don't they care?  Is it because it's so overwhelming?

It seems like such a wasteland that one can hardly look at it for all the suffering that exists there.

Government ignores it because there is nothing in it for them. Plain and simple.

He who does for the least of my people does for me. - Jesus

  4. The real question is......................

When will Africans start to care about the genocide, rape, murder and assoted other crimes perpetrated daily by Africans on Africans ??

Africa (and it's Africans) is clearly to blame for the continual "wars" and political corruption that is at the root of all of their problems.  Despite the billions poured into it (in aid) on an annual basis.

Kenya is currently demonstrating this right now.............

  5. Who says we should care about others in the first place??

  6. None in power. Solar Power in Sudan could end Oil War at least also bring money to poor people. Instead the mercenary company Black Water U.S.A. has been hired to go there,Afghanistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan which is full of oil and has a Dictator, pipeline through Afghanistan, interest in Capian Sea Oil. Black Water hired to protect. Citizens from West not lining up demanding change in U.N. so they can as part of U.N. arrest corrupt leaders destroy corporations responsible. Unity of Christians, Muslims, Judaic followers essential to dispense with illusion of difference to make help more possible. Europe did nor contain only genocide and Israel a country which reminds itself of that toward own people did not help.None did. Constant talk of Anti-Semtism but no united front to take on cause Human Supremacist Attitudes which cause harm to all make such things possible by contempt for life  belief in superiority. U.N. could at least have listed and world citizens done the rest had they the means and the will.

  7. Yes, there will come a time when the old scramble for Africa shall conote positively so that settlers/plunderers shall engage in real estate and mining. At this point there will be united states of Africa led or largely influenced by foreign powers (investers) who will see Africa as HOME and so do everything possible to protect it. This will be done by the so called rule of law on the one hand and democracy on the other. So the foreign education we (Africans) now obtain shall help to create sufficient insight into the need for us to stop harming ourselves for instance by bad leadership or corrupt leadership. Education can be a good tool to check ourselves and others with us. We would not allow the democratic system forinstance ot favour only one group of people but all or why did we go to school? By this time everyone shall have attained a fairly good level of education.

Tribalism and all shall be a thing of the past, erased from our memories by western education and lifestyle, coupled by fairly higher level of economic development...arising from massive investiments by the majority of the people. In Zambia right now the majority of people including call boys (bus station attendants) have houses of one kind or another. The educated people have awaked to this challenge and are building good Nigeirian film type of houses. So, yes Africa and her people shall rise again and shine more than any other continent because of the her natural resources and all.
