Does anyone think they are trying to paint McCain as "too rich"?

I've noticed that recent news stories being released about McCain seem to be an attempt to pain McCain as to rich like him having seven homes or to many cars getting a cuppacino or something. Does anyone think the liberal media and the democratic party are working hard to do this because up until this election year I have never heard of these stories about McCain being "to rich"

Hes trying to paint himself as the ordinary guy with Obama being the elitist.

It was McCain who said he didn't know how many homes he has, and that he would have a staff member look into it.

Few of the members of Congress are poor, in fact its pretty much a millionaires club up there on the Hill.

If you hadn't heard before this that McCain is married to a woman worth a conservative hundred million its only because you weren't paying attention.  Thats not all that unusual, we only really hear about them when they are either arrested or running for office.

Besides, there isn't anything wrong with owning seven homes, or needing staff to find out what you own, just don't tell me you are a regular guy while doing it.

it's not like a run for senate... many things come into question...

and with the down economy... people seem to care more...
