Does anyone think they have special powers or abilities?

i have had about 5 dreams and they have come true and drawn the future a couple of times and they came true. does any one else have this or something different?

A lot of things happened to me for 10 years..but it all turned out so bad that I had to "turn it off"...refuse to pay attention to it. Sometimes things still happen..once in awhile..but I try not to pay any attention to it...although sometimes I still do. It's hard not to.But I know I can't rely on it. It can be very deceptive...for me anyway. I think I just didn't understand how to respond to it or deal with it. I'm a little smarter now..hopefully not so easily deceived. You definitely need to learn discernment when dealing with psychic/paranormal experiences.

Edit..I also used to draw things and then they happened. I don't/won't draw anymore.

i am telekentic and psychokinetic.  i can trasport images through my mind into others and i can sometimes move machinery or some object. my psychokinesis  isn't fully developed however. feel free to contact me should you feel the need

I have a physic ability, i know when there is a prensense with us, and comunicate with them. Mainly my deceased uncle though.

I would say that dreams sometimes concern things that are preoccupying you during your concious hours - therefore, in your dreams, you could be unconsciously playing out different scenarios regarding what could happen, and it's not that suprising that sometimes things you dream will happen later. For instance, if I was playing the piano in a concert next week, it's entirely possible I would have a dream in which I forget the notes and make an embarrassing mistake, and this could well happen during the real thing. It's also possible I might have a dream where the concert goes well, and that could happen too. How many dreams have you had that didn't "come true"? Thousands? more? It would be surprising to me if some of them didn't come true.

There has never, ever, ever been a good, repeatable scientific study that has ever shown anyone having any supernatural or psychic powers. To respond to the poster below, there is some evidence gained through meta-analyses (which have certain limitations as scientific proof - the experiments included are chosen by the researchers, and experiments that show zero or negative effect are less likely to be published at all than those that show a positive effect, for a start.).

Furthermore, this "psi effect" is slight and only seems to be detectable statistically - if there were a good scientific study that showed that certain people could reliably show psychic ability - such as saying the exact number a random number generator in a sealed room had output many times over - it would literally be front page news, which would shake the foundations of science. There is no such evidence. The "psi effect" relies on large numbers of results showing a small, positive bias, not on any dramatic demonstration of ability. I agree that it doesn't rule out the possibility that there may be some phenomenon that isn't yet understood, but it certainly seems to refute the idea that anyone can see through walls or tell the future.

My personal opinion is that there are no psychics, there are the self-deluded and there are the charlatans and fraudsters.

Yes. I can control weather, water, wind, sun, fire, ice,etc. Plus, here's the wierd part. Whenever I take a bath, I grow a tail LIKE A MERMAID!!!!!! Bye:)

I have had odd things happen I wouldnt say powers or abilities.

When I was about 3 -4 (and my Dad told me this and hes a sckeptic!) I ran to my Dad and told him My Mamar (my great grandma) had died and when asked how I knew I said I just did cus she told me. I dont remember that.

When I was 14, many of my friends remember me talking about a really odd dream I had about standing ontop of a hill and I saw my house hit by lightning and burn to the ground. When I work I had a stong urge to pack up my important posessions to take to school. I thought it was silly and didnt. I really wish I and as that afternoon my house burnt down. It was an electrical fault in the roof. Also my School is on the hilliest part of town...it was odd.

I have had a few more things like this happen since, but I was so scred by knowing things like this that it rarely happens I drove it inderground so to speak. But I do tend to "know" types of people I have often dismissed these feelings to my detriment! I also get feelings about a place when I walk into it. Very strange.

But it could be explained I guess I just dont know how!

Everyone has some level of psi ability that is just not fully explained (or described) adequately by science.

Despite the misleading posting about Randi, a magician with no education or training in any science, many controlled, replicated, confirmed experiments demonstrating psi abilities have been conducted for many years.

I do believe in this kind of thing. I'm christian and I've heard stories about it from many people who are out there in the spiritual field. Not just fighting the worlds evil in person, but in the spirit. I can see in the spirit sometimes, but thats it. I have met people in my church going life that can heal (i was healed several times), prophesy, who have dreams about other people, see in the spirit, talk in tongues, give words from God. The weirdest was what I like to call a dancer. In a prayer session one guy started dancing. He was terrified, excited and happy  all that the same time. He danced all night and eventually fell asleep. It was cool. I have a lot more awesome stories on that line - feel free to ask me.

When I was in my late teens, early 20s I had many prophetic dreams....usually of bad, unfortunate circumstances, or sometimes random silly things. These dreams would usually occur very early in the am right before I woke up. I would tell my friends and co-workers about a "weird dream" I had, and then it would happen!  Honestly, this really freaked most people out. People would say it gave them the creeps and joked for me to never dream about them. So over the years I stopped telling people....now it doesn't really happen anymore, just once in a while. This type of ability can be a gift and/or a curse..........
