No.

I think it's one of the most wonderful countries on the planet because it has so many important, historical places, beautiful scenery and lovely people.

The level of poverty in some places is gut-wrenching & there are many, many places off of the gringo trail (tourist path) that are extremely run-down and just.....sad. Like Juliaca where you see starving street dogs eating the trash left on the streets, and buildings that look like they've been bombed. You see children as young as 3 out on the street on their own. Lima isn't exactly a pretty city, but it's got merits.

The people of Peru don't suck, that's for sure.  It's a very poor country, and I think the people there do their best to make do.

I'm 16 & traveled all over the country and never, not once, encountered a single person who wasn't kind to me. Peruvians rock.

No,  peru is one of the most beutiful countries, and also peru has Machu Picchu that it is one of the new seven wonders

I certainly don't. Of the places I've been europe, asia, central and north america, Peru was my favorite vacation. What a wonderful place. The food, the history, shopping and scenery...breath taking, always an experience better than the last!
