My bill was $10.37 today in a diner but I gave $21. When she came back to give me change, I said keep it. Did she accept it as tips? What would be her inner reaction if you were her?

  1. be honest Mike...?

You only tipped that much to get into her knickers....

    You did, didnt you???????

Fair Play M8 - U get her phone no?

  2. The rich what can i say

  3. her reaction woud be:

HAHAHA! i took out 11 buck out of that dumbbut guy or girl!

    thats it..

or: if it is a mature person:

    Well thankyou very much.

    those are 2 possible reactions.

  4. She would have accepted it as a tip, a very generous one.

Most people only tip between 10 and 25 percent, depending on how good of a job the waitress did.

    I hope I helped.

  5. i wold keep it

  6. Well, I haven't more than 100%, but if my bill was low enough the the service was good enough, I probably would! I was a server for years, so I know how hard they work. (The most I ever did was probably 50%)

  7. You made her day...probably made her happy and she was nicer to all the rest of her customers.......very nice of you.....

I tip 20% but if I really like the waiter or waitress..I will give alot more also....

They put up with alot of sh** and they deserve a break now and then...HUGS!!

  8. I wish they did in England, i'm lucky to get 10% and even then we have to pool them :(

  9. not on your life.i am not here to support everybody.i work hard for my money and if they don't like the money they get,get another job.

  10. well my sister is a waitress as a little part time job but wenever she gets tips they have to put it into a jar and at the end of the day every penny gets spilt up between how many waitors there are there but i dont think its far because say someone g*y my sister a 5 pound tip she wouldnt get all of it she would only get a share out of it

  11. Extreme thankfulness for one.  Many people stiff waiters and waitresses on tips, so receiving such a generous tip would be highly appreciated, not just for the monetary value but also as a sign that she did a good job.

When I waited tables and received a favorable tip, I went out of my way to make sure when the customer came back to give them better service and even larger portions of food.  People remember kindness and often repay in full.

  12. yeash she excepts it as more then a tip. more like a very flirty offer. i would think of it as a way you sayig you like me.
