  1. if the procession is coming towards you, you are not required to yield IF you are on a multi-lane divided highway.

If you also travelling in the same direction on a multi-lane divided highway you are permitted to pass as long as you can do so with out 'cutting in to' the procession.

if there is no median you then are required to stop and are not permitted to pass.

  2. I guess you should, just like you should stop when an ambulance comes by.

  3. NO! Never interfere with the line of a funeral!

  4. I woudl say you could pass them, it's nothing like when you have to slow down for a fire truck or ambulance.

  5. NO...............Funeral processions have the right of way on any road.

Other vehicles must yield and not interfere or obstruct a procession.

The most common way people show respect for a funeral procession is to stop until they pass

  6. yeh out of respect i would just wait

  7. sure you can pass them you are not to get in line with them.

  8. yeah, you can pass them.  You're supposed to give them the right of way, if you're in a intersection or on red light or whatever. Youc an pass them in a highway, as long as you don't get in their way.
