  1. It is the international symbol for the parking brake. If this stays on when the park brake is fully released, then the sensor is most probably faulty. A quick trip to your ford dealer can easily resolved this issue.

Go to the ford website and download the users manual.

  2. its the handbrake light- it can also come on when your brake fluid is low so check that and make sure the float in the brake fluid reservoir isn't stuck down.   otherwise you might have dropped a coin down the side of the handbrake lever which completes the handbrake warning circuit and brings the light on.

  3. it could blow up but anyway answer mine plz help

  4. My 96 model had the same thing. Yeah its saying the handbrake is still on. My hubby said the handbrake just needs adjusting (tightening). He never got around to fixing it for me, so I just ignored it and never had any problems.

  5. If it is staying on it's not the handbrake it means there is a fault or the brake fluid is low.

  6. A circle with an exclamation mark in it is the universal sign for the handbrake.

    Alternative names for the handbrake:

    - Emergency brake (e-brake)

    - Parking brake

If this sign is on if the handbrake is not engaged, there is an electrical problem and you should see an authorised repairer for a Falcon.
