  1. I used nutramigen for about three monthes because my doctor reccomended it ( my daughter has eczema they say it is usually caused by an allergy to something in the formula) she was about three monthes old when i started using it and it didnt help at all and was way more expensive then the other formulas. she would throw up whole bottles and my doctor said she was just getting used to the formula. Eventually i switched to nestle good start and that worked perfect her skin is clear and i saved alot of money

  2. yes, i used Nutramigen for my daughter, because on the regular Enfamil Lipil she would not keep it down at all, but on Enfamil AR (the thicker one for babys that puke) she kept it down but it was so thick it made her constipated.  so finally doctor said to try the nutramigen (i had also tried the soy with no luck) and it did work better than any other formula i tried.  it really depends on each baby but if thats what doctor thinks will work than do give it a go.

  3. Why the change? Was it for a milk protein allergy? If so, the nutramigen should help most/all symptoms your baby is having that made the change necessary. I breastfeed, with the occassional formula bottle. My baby has food intolerances, including to dairy, so we used the nutramigen for 1 week while I did an elimination diet and his symptoms (vomitting, mucus and blood in stools) cleared up. Now we give him the nutramigen when we need to give him a bottle or if I accidently eat something that he has an intolerance to.

  4. The best thing to use is breastmilk, doesn't matter what you use for formula, its all c**p.

  5. i use a combo of nutramagen and parents choice gentle and it works really good. the nutramagen helped alot with the colic within a week and the gentle helps with gas problems

sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt, its trial and error

if nutramagen doesnt help i would ask about parents choice gentle or enfamil gentlease

  6. it didnt work at all for my son we just switch to enfamil ar we thought he had food allergies turns out he has reflux and needed thicker formula and meds.... what is your baby doing after he eats?

try it you never know maybe a combo of different things going on with him.. it all learning experance lol

  7. My new baby brother uses Neutramagen. He was allergic to Cow Milk, AND soy milk. It costs twice as much, but very well worth it. It might take a while for YOU to get used to the smell. lol =] He was also allergic to wheat, (milk), eggs, and peanuts. so my mom was afraid to eat, thats why she stopped breast feeding, just in case it does get in her milk. (and he bit) lol

    HOPE THIS HELPS =]
