Question:

Does anyone use or take Natto (nattokinase)?

I know it is a fermented soy product eaten in Japan and has great blood-thinning and clot dissolving properties. Does anyone use it or eat it? Is the pill form as good as the food?

  1. I've bought the pill form before and used it. I know it's supposed to be great for the blood, getting rid of excess fibrin, etc. but I can't say that it really did anything for me.

On the other hand, my doctor keeps telling me that despite my age, weight and other health issues, I have a relatively low risk of heart disease based on the tests they ran. Maybe the nattokinase helped, maybe it didn't. Either way, I'm glad I'm a low risk right now.
