Does anyone use the inversion table? Does it help with back and other problems?

Inversion "tables" that hold a person slanted, head down. Reported to be good for back pain, circulation, and relaxation.

  1. I have an older inversion table that is really my boyfriend's.  I don't like it because I don't feel it is too safe.  It's quite old, about 15 years old.  Tables are made more safe now, so I would love to try one again.  I recommend it to my clients (I'm a massage therapist).  They do work as gravity allows the muscles to relax and release the tension.  Yes, it does improve circulation.  I recommend that a person starts out upside down for no more than 1 minute and work their way up to 30 minutes daily, but it will take time, at least 2 months.


  2. I dont have an inversion table but I do use the ab lounge chair to arch back as far as I can go. It really does help my back alot. I'm up to about 5 minutes so far.
