Just wondering, since it's a show about the Republic of Ireland's fictional town an is produced by BBC, what are the glaring inacuracies? I've been to Ireland & this seems a little "too Irish" to me.

  1. I used to watch that on RTE ages ago. Those two clowns that work for the well off fella (Brian?) are going a bit too far. I can't really remember much else. You can go to Wicklow where it is set if you want to see the pub, I think it's in Avoca, ages ago since I was there.

  2. I don't even watch it. Don't get BBC where I live.

  3. Have you seen the eastenders in ireland episode!!!!!!!! the beeb are habitual for their inaccuracies about ireland.

No, ballywhatever is a bit oirish and shelaiagh its basically muck in the eyes of any irish person but the tourists and tans like it, so let them off.
