  1. They think she'll do well representing the US at state funerals.

The VP is an inconsequential position.

  2. I think the real question here is not about McCain's choice and her inexperience but that the possiblity that an even more inexperienced man in Obama could be the president. With only 143 days as a senator before he decided to run for president and still hasn't produced a U.S. birth certificate. Now that is scarry!

  3. I don't know about other world leaders and what they are thinking. However, i think they are laughing at our country about how we are allowing a retiree nursing home man running our country, and with his age any stress can lead to a heart attack.

  4. Randy C has hit the nail on the head.  Those of you who have questioned her inexperience are inexplicibly forgetting about Obama's total lack of experience as well...and you want him as your president...God help us all!

  5. Love Randy C's answer!

Also I think it was a great move on McCain's side.  All the women out there who were going to vote for Obama because Hillary was off the docket will vote for McCain/Palin ticket.

Let's face it people..many people vote for their own reasons not because of the actual issues at hand.

And as far as other world leaders?  They've dealt with the Queen for years..they'll get over it!

    I'm hating this election year.

  6. I am not sure if other world leaders are scratching their heads or not, but I sure am.  It was a desperate and silly move.  She has minimal experience in office. If something were to happen to McCain I would not want someone so inexperienced running the country, woman or not. McCain is just going after all of the Clinton supporters.  It would be a VERY sad commentary of our country if people made such an important decision merely on the gender of the candidate, and it looks like McCain may think we are all that stupid to do so.

  7. Why should we care what other countries think?  I think she is a great choice.  I'd rather have Sara Palin as president than John McCain.

  8. With bewilderment I would imagine. What's the betting some wag is busy producing "Who the h**l is Sarah Palin" T-shirts as we speak?

  9. i don't know about other world leaders scratching their heads....but I know I am

Less than two years experience and she's V.P?????

  10. probably so. if the u.s. wanted a woman in the presidential office the u.s. would have chosen hillary clinton. a female vice president just isn't the same deal. it only shows how the u.s. doesn't trust future female presidential candidates.

  11. most of them are scratching their heads because they're lousy

  12. She called her daughter "Bristol" clearly she doesn't even have enough braincells to think rationally never mind become VP of the most influential country in the world. I didn't like Obama before, but if I was American I'd be voting for him now!!
