Does anyone work at a college and is in charge of Purchasing orders

What does that description mean... Handles Purchase orders / reviews adds/updates purchase orders

would you be in charge of approvals or do you have to get approval from a higher position to purchase .

They will have you look over POs (Purchase Orders) and most likely expedite them.  You will have to be careful when it come to ordering (some items come in cases, rolls, or packages).  You will be in charge of putting due dates in your computer system and when the item that you buy are expected to arrive.  I don't think you will be in charge of approvals because that is more in lines of what the manager does.

They are just adding things that don't belong to the Purchasing Department because you deal with money outflows.   /
