Does anyone work for Marion County, Indiana?

Question

I noticed on a website that to work for them you have to live in the county. Is this challenged and/or still true? Does anyone work for them that lives in an adjacent county?

" Any person who accepts employment with the City of Indianapolis or Marion County or any special service or special taxing district thereof, must have his/her place of residence within the limits of Marion County or become a resident of the county within six (6) months of the date when he/she accepts employment. "

Sounds pretty clear to me.  Many government jobs have that as a requirement.
