Does anyoneknow if the Royal Family of Lesotho is wealthy?

Yes, um, I have a problem with African monarchies are often beng looked over and ignored. But any ways, I know that the Swazi and Moroccan royal families are wealthy, but what about the Lesothan royal family? Oh and another question, Does anyone think that Lesotho will get its economy up and running any time soon? And will it put up fierce competition withe South Africa?**I'm hoping the water exports it has signed with South Africa will Jump start it.**

Lesotho lost its "wealth" with the end of apartheid, when western companies left the area.  It is poor with little economy and few resources.  Don't know about the tribal leaders and if they are wealthy--they probably did "siphon" off some of the apartheid-era money, as most leaders have done around the world.

Nope, they are as poor as field mice. No palace as we understand it, no heirlooms as we understand it, but one heck of a lot more respect and devotion of the people for their royalty
