  1. Okay. Your best bet from Euston is to follow the signs to

'Euston Square Underground Station' (NOT EUSTON UNDERGROUND) - its a 2-300m walk If i remember right. From here take the London Underground CIRCLE LINE EASTBOUND / CLOCKWISE and alight at Tower Hill station (The station after Aldgate if that helps!)

If you prefer, use EUSTON UNDERGROUND (access from inside Mainline rail station) and Take Northern Line SOUTHBOUND to Stockwell, Morden via CITY. Get this train to BANK (be careful not to get on a train not going via CITY - this will not stop at Bank - these usually terminate at Kennington so thats a good way to check, otherwise ask a member of staff and/or check the display boards with Maps. At Bank, take the covered footway to Monument station (its basically one station - follow signs for Circle + District Lines. Get a Circle / District line train one stop EASTWARDS (Anticlockwise on Circle) and get off at Tower Hill.

From Tower Hill, follow signs for Fenchurch Street Mainline and get on a C2C train to Shoeburyness. Make sure it goes via Tilbury / Grays rather than Upminster / Basildon. Again, if you are unsure, ask a member of the station staff - they are there to help. This train will take you to Stanford-le-hope station or basically most of the stations in that area.

The price is £10.30 one way, £16.00 return From Euston, but would advise advance purchase via www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.thetrainline.com as Euston station is hard to buy tickets at.

  2. This is the link to the Transport for London website, which has a journey planner you can use to plan your route:

    http://www.tfl.gov.uk/

This is another of my favourite websites for journey planning, if the link works it should show several journeys from London to Stanford le Hope:

    http://www.transportdirect.info/Web2/Jou...

All of the route planners have suggested taking the underground to West Ham Rail Station & taking the train to Stanford le Hope from there.

You could also use the Transport Direct link to plan a route from Liverpool to Essex & see if it will throw up a more practical route for you.

  3. be very careful in stanford-le-hope. you need to get the train there from fenchurch street.

i went there once by accident when i was drunk so can't tell you how much its costs or anything. cos i'm from the southend end of the C2C line
