Does anyonne have any girl scout swap ideas for world thinking day?

im a girl scout leader looking for a great swap other than the usual flag swap, which in my opinion is just plain boring. im really wanting our troop to do greece.

  1. You can print our pictures of coins from that country, cut them out, laminate them with tape and attach them to a pin.   You could glue tiny pieces of red felt into green pony beads to make them look like olives then glue them to a pin. (Most of our swaps are wearable, either attached to a pin or used as a bracelet or necklace.)

  2. Well you could have the girls make different food from other countries , do other countries children's games, dances, or songs . Possibly learn a couple of different words from a certain culture .

  3. my daughter did greece last year.. they used a large pin and added the letters GREECE and added pretend gold coins with it.

    they were dressed in white shirts black skirts.. and a peice of red scarf with gold coins on it for a hat.
