Well, Indian team is struggling desperately at the moment, as the current score is 195/9.  Murlidaran has picked up 5 wickets, and Ajantha Mendis has taken 3 wickets so far.

The outcome is yet to be decided, but India will be asked to follow on for sure! If the Indians doesn't bat sensibly and responsibly even in the 2nd innings, then none can save them from a defeat in the 1st test. The only batsman who has perhaps shown a bit of responsibility for India is VVS Laxman, as he has scored 41 runs, and is still at the crease. India will have to put in their best efforts in order to make this match a draw, otherwise, the most likely outcome of this match will be a victory for Sri Lanka.
